A timeless classic in Alappuzha! Hotel Brothers, serving since 1973, is a must-visit for authentic Kerala meals. I had the fish curry meals — absolutely delicious and full of flavor. It's no surprise this place is well-known and loved by travelers and locals alike. Simple, satisfying, and true to its roots.

Visited this place after hearing about it a lot. We tried the regular fish meals with additional stuff like karimeen fry, podimeen fry and chicken roast. The meals were just amazing. The avial and cabbage thoran were prepared perfectly like at home. Fish curry was also good with generous pieces of fish thrown in. Karimeen fry was prepared fresh as per order though it was more oily than we expected. Parking will be an issue during peak hours. About the service - it's just very informal and casual. They don't even give a menu. Don't expect any professional behaviour from staff like high end restaurants. But they get the job done. They are not polite talking but don't mistake it for rudeness.

We had porotta, duck roast, puttu and fish curry during our dinner visit. All the servings tasted good. I could also understand that this place holds a significant part in 90's malayalam cinema. Recommended visit if you are around Alappuzha in search of dining space. Parking also available.

We recently visited this historic hotel, which was evident from the photos of celebrities on the walls - it added to the charm! The Kerala meal was perfect, with all the traditional curries tasting just right. The 4 thorans and sambar, along with the delicious meen curry, were highlights. We also ordered 2 fries - neeymeen and kilimeen - which were tasty. However, the total bill of ₹740 (including tax) felt a bit steep. Despite that, the food was 'on point' and worth considering for a special occasion."

We enjoyed a tasty breakfast at Hotel Brothers their mutton curry, chicken curry, and fish curry were all delicious and packed with authentic flavours. The parotta and idiyappam were fresh and paired perfectly with the gravies. Loved the soft puttu topped with coconut too. A great stop for traditional Kerala food!

Food is heavenly here especially the aroma of the spiced or flavored ones. - Had a well cooked Chicken Biriyani as chicken was yummy and fried well with fried and caramelized onions. The salad and pickle was nice too. - Orange Juice was refreshing too. - Depends on situation, parking and services can be different yet they handle it effectively.
